Your puppy will be dewormed several times before going to your home and your puppy will also be checked by a vet before he or she is homed to you at 10 weeks you will have 3 days optional to have your puppy checked by your own vet as well if you want. Or you can wait until next puppy shot is needed. It is totally up to you.
We want the best for our pups of course and for you to have a great experience having your new puppy we monitor their health and get them ready for their new home. As well as you have done your homework on your breed & puppy. We also we have time for questions you may have for me to help in transition….so get plenty of sleep!
Below you will see all we do to prepare for the best day of all picking up and meeting your new puppy! Remember it is a Huge transition for them too. They are being taken away from the pack they have known to a knew pack to communicate & start all over. It’s important your family keep the next two weeks at home low key & work on house breaking with a crate consistency. Positive reinforcement.

We are not a show kennel, but we do show our dogs a few times a year. We have been breeding quality healthy dogs for over 23 years. We put thought into improving the breed with each litter. We test for health clearings. We offer a written health guarantee for all our dogs
Health checked & dewormed
Your puppy will come with a vet check and a shot record. We ask families to keep it and reference it as needed. Your puppy will also go home on a dewormer preventative. We have been offering vet checks and dewormer preventative for years. In this time of Covid-19, when protocols and scheduling appointments have changed a bit, we still offer this service to give families extra time before consulting with a veterinarian about their pup’s health.
Complimentary Puppy Book
Your puppy is a baby. It is learning a lot each day. Smaller breeds need extra training time and support. Consistency is a must from your whole family. Thus, we send you home with a puppy book written especially for small breeds.
The book will provide you with some guidance and helpful information for those first few months with your puppy.
Breeder support for the life of your Coton De Tulear
Cotons will live an average of 14 years. Bringing one home is a big commitment.
We are here with on-going support and encouragement for the life of your Coton de Tulear. You are free to stay in contact with us after you bring your puppy home; we believe communication is important. We want to be there for you and your puppy.
We also understand that life can create unexpected circumstances that may make it difficult to care for your Coton de Tulear. We request that rather than selling your dog to another family or surrendering it to a shelter that you contact us directly. We take our Cotons back.
Best Day Ever! Pick Up Day
On the day of pick-up, we schedule an hour to meet and greet your puppy. This is not just time for first wiggles and kisses, it is a time for us to answer your questions. To prepare for pick-up day, it is common to purchase a small crate or a crate with a movable divider. The crate can be used for the car ride as well as become a quiet place for your puppy to rest while at home.
If you don’t plan to crate-train your puppy, you could purchase washable cloth pee pads or a litter box. Baby gates can also be set up to create areas in your home where your puppy to free to roam. Small, controlled spaces are helpful to Coton de Tulears.
Pups are sold to their family members at 10/12 weeks of age, we have found in over 26 years of professional breeding anything under is just to young. We have found there is less nipping, easier to crate train & much relaxed & social for starters. Plus an extra vaccine against parvo.
We will guarantee for up to 3 days from possession to signing up for one month free of health Insurance with trupanion. Which highly recommend health insurance ( be it whichever brand you choose. As the way vets are referring families to emergency vet care which is ridiculously expensive. It’s something to consider)
Your pup will have had core shots appropriate with age/several deworming’s/vet health certificate and lifetime of breeder support & more! Buyer is responsible for any travel fees if applicable? Which amount is depending where we go or meet to deliver. Also, in the event of a pup being returned for whatever reason or a replacement pup, buyer is responsible for all shipping/Delivery charges that may occur/travel for this.
Pup is welcome to have vet check-up at buyer’s expense within 72 hrs of delivery or can use the original health certificate that pup had before delivery that is totally up to you.

Deposits & Payment
Our pups are ready to go home at ten weeks. Puppies that stay in their packs longer do better and learn “pack things” that we humans cannot teach them. In the long run, being a part of a pack prepares your puppy mentally and socially for life with your family.
Our Coton de Tulears range in price from $2500 to $3000. If you’d like to reserve a puppy in an upcoming litter, we will accept checks. The remaining balance for the puppy is due before pick-up day. Your check will need to clear before then. We do accept credit cards, but we do not accept checks on pick-up day.
Our puppies are sold as pets. Our rates vary for those interested in breeding Coton de Tulears or those who want an older puppy who has been house-trained and crate-trained with us.
